We developed a chalk style paint with a built in bonding primer, built in wax and built in durability for the time conscious consumer. That means all of the adhering benefits of a chalk style paint, but without the tedious 2nd step of applying wax which can make traditional chalk painting seem difficult. On its own, The Heritage Collection’s unique all-in-one formula is sealed and is extremely durable once cured. It adheres to most surfaces, including wood, Formica, glass, ceramic, stone, cement and much more without the need to strip, sand or prime. With 12 European inspired colors that pair together well creating a high-end finish, The Heritage Collection allows you to turn that flea market find into a unique family heirloom.
Iron Gate is a true, rich elegant black finish with just the right amount of sheen. Pair this with our Weathered Wood Antiquing Gel to create a warm black. Pair this color with Cathedral to create the very trendy Steam Punk look everyone is eyeballing on Pinterest.
If you wish to have an antiqued, aged, Pinterest look, add our Weathered Wood Antiquing Gel to your finish.
Note: you may experience tannin bleeds with any paint product. This is most typical in red woods that you are painting a light color. Consider using shellac as a primer in those instances. Nicotine residue may also cause bleed through.

I love this paint! I painted a drum table with an iron gate base and I love the way the paint lays down. It dries a bit quick, so you'll want to take care not to drag off what you've painted. I used a HTP brush and no brush marks, at all!
An old, ugly heavily grained oak piece next- cleaned with vinegar water and brushed on iron gate paint, 2 coats and it's gorgeous! Very velvety, luxe look. What I got on the mirror easily scraped off. Hubby took it to his office before I could even get a pic! This paint worked great with blending another color the next day as well as some dry brushing on the bottom shelf. Works great! Beautiful finish! Goes a long way!! No waxing! Gorgeous color, like matte black with richness.

I'm always trying new paint products, and this one is my new favorite! I love the finish on it. It goes on smooth. You can't go wrong with this all in one product.

Love love love the All in one paint did my buffet with it turned out beautiful. Loved that all you did was start painting and loved that you didn't have to wax after you were done.

Using this product was so easy! I seriously was not looking forward to painting our kitchen cabinets, but this all-in-one chalk style paint made the job so much easier! I will recommend definitely using a chalk style paint brush, as we started without but quickly ran and got one and it worked A LOT better! This was a more affordable transformation than getting rid of the cabinets and buying all new. Thanks so much!

I just love how this goes on. It's smooth and I was almost able to use one coat to cover the project I was working on.

Used Heirloom traditions All in one paint for the first time. Goes on smoothly, drys to a perfect self leveled finish.
Most black paints I've used have a blue hue, this doesn't. It's a deep velvety black.
I would recommend it!!!

I've previously ONLY used Annie Sloan, because from all of my research it was 'the best of the best' product to use..
UNTIL I FOUND THIS PAINT!
I cannot tell you how much more I enjoyed my project working with this paint. It was easier to work with, dried quickly, and gave me an overall high quality outcome!

I had painted a desktop using Gaphite chalk paint and black wax. The color never dried correctly and rubbed off on paper and hands. Two coats of Heritage Iron Gate and problem solved.
