Like the plant that its named after, Brittlebush is a yellow with faint orange tone chalk type paint.

This is my current favorite color for a few reasons. It's a beautiful color adding a golden glow without being too orange. When its first applied don't let it scare you, keep going. My most recent was a beat up tiger oak dresser beyond repair. I used a half bottle of wood glue to tighten all the joints, wood fill in areas where the veneer broke off but amazingly the top could be saved. A little gel stain there and Brittlebush everywhere else and this piece is amazing now! New life. Brittlebush is also a great color to use as a base on furniture, when it's sanded to the Brittlebush the eye sees it as natural wood.
