Make your painted fabric Fab!   This revolutionary paintable barrier is what keeps your painted fabric from feeling crunchy and prevents it from cracking.  Apply a coat of Fab! as your primer coat to create the paintable barrier, then apply a chalk type paint until desired coverage and finish off with a coat of Fab! to seal everything.

Once your fabric is Fab!, it's water & stain resistant making it ideal for outdoor fabrics as well.  Don't forget that your sun faded patio furniture cushions, umbrella and awnings can be Fab! again!

Fab! is not recommended for use on velours or velvets.

Fab! all in 1 Primer & Sealer

Can I paint my fabric?  Yes you can with Fab!

Is Fab a Fabric Paint?  It's not.  It's a unique product that is a primer for painted fabric and its the sealer too.  Fab! and chalk type paint is all it takes for a great transformation.

  1. Made my painted chair feel like soft leather 5 Star Review

!im so please with how the FAB! All-in-one turned out on my piece. It went on smoothly and I felt like it spread easily and dried evenly. I’m excited about this product and will definitely continue using it!

  2. Really Works!!! Would Do It Again!!! 5 Star Review

I was a little worried as I chose a piece that was a velvet light pink settee. I first applied the FAB and waited the allotted time. I then decided because it was velvet and knew that I did not want the paint to sit on top of the fibers mixed the paint with water to the consistency of milk. This seem to work better. I did do two coats and then re-applied the FAB to seal. I did use a brown paper bag to soften up any areas that did not feel quite as soft . It turned out great and my daughter just loves it!!!
The "Marilyn Lipstick" was just the color she wanted it to be!!

  3. Rally enjoy the finished product! 5 Star Review

I have used Fab twice now and I am very satisfied with the completed items. My first was a rolling chair I have for school and it has really stood up to my K students. I only used the paint without the primer and needed two cans. This time I did the primer first and covered two cushions for my outdoor chairs that did not look very good anymore. Now they are bright yellow and I love them. I liked using the primer first better because I could see where it was applied and the chalk paint covered better with it primed first. I would definitely buy again!

  4. FAB is a winner 5 Star Review

I used FAB 2 pack for the first time, on an old family chair. This product gave my tired old chair a new lease on life! I vacuumed the chair really well, then used a synthetic bristle brush to apply the FAB white primer. After it dried, I used my regular latex paint. I let that dry, taped off a grain sack stripe, and painted that. The All-In-One went on easily. I've sat on my redone chair- no cracking! Feels like leather. I will put this product to use again!

  5. Anything successful begins with the foundation 5 Star Review

I had 2 gray tufted club chairs that I love but they were the wrong color for my home style. I heard about fabric paint so went to researching blogs everywhere to DIY. Every project that did not have paint cracks used fabric primer. I did not want to spare any qualities needed nor cut any corners for my chairs to return great results. So I ordered FAB because it is made specifically for fabrics and I am more satisfied with the chairs than I had originally envisioned. The fabric is now softer than it was before the FAB primer, paint and sealer. Each chair took 1 1/2 of the primer, 1 paint and 1 sealer. Hats off to Heirloom Traditions!

I recently discovered this product and purchased it to redo a green and red plaid settee. I painted it Irish Cream. It's beautiful! It feels like a good leather not stiff at all. I love it and have moved on to a Bergere chair now.

It really worked to make the fabric I painted softer! I did what I was told to so and sand between layers...couldn't have painted the fabric of my chairs without it!

  9. AMAZING PRODUCT 5 Star Review

I used Fab on my very old Queen Anne chair. The upholstery was in good shape just faded. I then painted it with Heirloom Traditions Feathered Nest. It turned out beautiful! I used more Fab than I thought I would have needed however it was still far cheaper then having it re-upholstered. And I love the color. It is now sitting in my living room.
