Note: you may experience tannin bleeds with any paint product. This is most typical in red woods that you are painting a light color. Consider using shellac as a primer in those instances. Nicotine residue may also cause bleed through.

I purchased the Cabinet Restoration Kit-Heritage Collection All in One Chalk Style Paint to paint our kitchen cabinets at our office. I could not have been more pleased with the results. The process of taking off the doors and pulls and taping everything off took longer than the actual painting of the cabinets with the kit. Paula's "stippling" technique made them dry so smooth and beautiful. I have not decided yet if I will antique them or not as the color I chose, Manor House is so pretty on it's own. I am pretty sure I will have enough paint left over to revamp my makeup vanity at home in the same Manor House as well and I will definitively antique it as it has a lot of intricate detail that needs to be shown off . Love how you get to skip the wax step with this paint. You don't miss it as it dries to a nice flat finish with the richness you get from waxing.
